Denver Botanic Gardens | Arrowhead Wedding | Denver Wedding Photographer

We're getting ready for the 2014 wedding season, and I decided it's time to take a look back at some of our favorite couples from 2013!

Back in July, I had the opportunity to get to know Megan and Greg.  We had scheduled their engagement shoot on a hot day down at the Denver Botanic Gardens.  If you haven't been there, you definitely should go check it out.  You can spend hours exploring, and that's exactly what we did.  Of course, Megan and Greg brought several different outfits, including Greg's full dress Marine uniform, which would have been comfortable on a 50 degree day; but it was a little toasty on a 90 plus degree day.  We were able to get lots of incredible photos at this beautiful venue!

They chose Arrowhead Golf Club as the location for their wedding and reception.  I had been looking forward to shooting a wedding there for a long time, and was grateful that they chose me to photograph their wedding.  Their special day finally came in September… at the end of a week which saw historic flooding in Colorado.  They really lucked out with their timing, because other than a few sprinkles during some of the formal photos, their outdoor wedding stayed dry.

Last week, we were able to show off some of our work at the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show, and the photo of Megan dominating the boys at the bar was a huge hit!

Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement shoot and their wedding day!
