One of the things that we enjoy the most about working with our couples, is getting to know them and discovering their personalities.  As soon as we shot Jessi and Dan's engagement session, we were delighted to learn they were loving, spontaneous, playful and extremely funny (and big Rockies fans too, with a dog named Helton)!  

Fast forward to their wedding day, June 19, 2015.  It was the first of two weddings in a 3 day period for us at Deer Creek Valley Ranch in Bailey, Colorado.  We always love to shoot there; it's such a beautiful mountain venue!  It turned out to be an amazing Colorado day.  During the reception, their DJ completely put Dan on the spot!  He asked if he had ever sung to Jessi before.  Well of course he had, but little did he know, he was about do it again.  Cue the Righteous Brothers; "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" (yes, like the bar scene from Top Gun), and Dan immediately owned it!  That was the most amazing four minutes of any wedding reception we have ever shot.  All of the men backed up Dan and were on their knees singing to Jessi.  Dan is obviously multi talented; he even brewed a very special beer for the occasion called "I Do Brew".  We may have had a sample or two during the evening... :-)
